An invaluable new training programme specifically developed for all Gas Engineers involved in assessing ventilation requirements for domestic gas appliances

  • Expert training when you want it, at your own pace
  • CD-ROM based, ideal for self-teaching
  • A stimulating, interactive format
  • Invaluable information and practical advice
  • Developed by experts in the industry
  • Great value
This training programme is designed as an excellent refresher course and will improve and update Gas Engineers’ technical skills. It can be run in a classroom format or individually.

A comprehensive overview

Ventilation is divided into eight tutorials covering the key aspects which should be considered when calculating required ventilation for gas appliances in the home. Essential calculations are provided and examples are then given as to how and when to use them. The presentation format is dynamic and engaging using the latest visual technology. Each tutorial is applied to a typical home and uses a combination of 3D and animated graphics and is accompanied by a voice-over.

Having completed the course, check your understanding by completing the final test and receive invaluable feedback as to which tutorials you should re-visit. At any point in the future you can re-visit any tutorial to refresh your knowledge.

Try out your skills in a virtual home

Having followed the eight tutorials and completed the final test the programme launches you into a life-like exercise set in a typical house. It is both challenging and instructive. You are invited to carry out ventilation checks in various rooms around the house. You need to locate and then check all the gas burning appliances and the air vents.

Safety, correctly following guidelines and customer service are all key issues. You decide what procedures to follow, which appliances and vents to check, what tests to carry out and in what order.

Invaluable training

Gas Engineers completing and implementing this training programme will be:
  • Completely up to date with current legislative requirements
  • Reassured they are operating within safety guidelines
  • Well-prepared for handling most domestic ventilation jobs
  • Re-focussed on all aspects of ventilation
