The latest visual technology, more commonly found in computer games, ensures total concentration. Using the latest in 3D animation, graphics, video clips and sound, you are transported into the Real World Environment (RWE) of a typical home. It is up to you to decide on your approach and how to fix the problem. You can visit different parts of the property, use a multimeter to test the boiler, replace components, refer to the manual and even talk to the customer.
This course brings theory to life – in a safe environment.
Module 1
An introduction to the programme and how to navigate around it using the on-screen tools. It takes just a couple of minutes to master.
Module 2
This section covers an in-depth look at high efficiency appliances and takes around 25 minutes to complete. The key elements in this section include:
Real-life scenarios
A methodical approach to fault -finding is recommended and this is fully explored via eight Real World Environment (RWE) customer exercises; these closely replicate real-life situations typically experienced by most domestic Gas Engineers.
At the end of each exercise trainees will receive instant feedback. A scorecard gives a rating for their approach and accuracy.
For optimum learning repeat the programme as often as needed – for no additional cost
